My First Article
This short article is rather a test of the functionalities of my blog...
For writing these articles I use Markdown, a markup language (did you catch the pun?), like HTML
, XML
, and a long list of other such languages; this allows me to write contents than can be formatted, in rather a rich way, thanks to Markdown.
Even if the possibilities are way more limited compared than what we can do with HTML, CSS (and Javascript), still we can do a lot of pretty things for a nicer presentation of documents in general; like lists, blockquotes, bold text, italic text, code blocks, inline code
, tables, images, and of course links, which are originally at the core of the invention and creation of HTTP.
The Web was born to meet a need that researchers had in the past: sharing works and papers, and that's one of the reason for the birth of HTTTP
; then the principle of connected people and sharing things has been extended, years after years, to what we know and use today, and it's one of the reason your are here and can read this article...
Think about all the people who have committed themselves to create, develop, enhance, the tool that we have today and that we call "Internet". And plus, our Internet wouldn't have been possible without the centuries of dedicated efforts of mankind to search, dig, dive, into reality, so that we can make our lives better, through sciences, knowledge, medecine, communication, etc., etc.
What we are doing with it, and what we will do, is, as for any human invention, subject and depending on/to the better as the worst of the human nature... Everthing is going faster and faster, it seems than we're evolving at an exponential rate (look for example how, in the past hundred year, we passed from oxcart to jets, flying through the sky from one continent to another, now even reaching to adventure in our solar system... it's quite astonishing), and I'm not sure that we'll be able to keep the control.
History has proven many times the bigest flaw of humanity: humanity itself, or rather the human nature; That's why I'm a believer in Christ by the way. It's a subject for a long disucssion, and I'll probably tackle it in another article; I did not planned to write all those things, at first it was just a just a test. So let's hope that this first article is a kind of inaguration giving the tone for what is to come in the next articles. We'll see.
Let's entrust this website, its visitors, and myself to our Holy heavenly Father, so that He can use it and me for His benevolent will, in Jesus name, amen!
back to the functionalities and the presentation: as you may have noticed, there's a "likes & comments" system, and also (an it is the most important piece of my website) there's a Bible than you can read online.

Note: toutes les balises BBCode ne sont pas prises en charge, uniquement celles dont les boutons ci-dessous en permettent l'utilisation.
